    Description

    Microbially influenced corrosion (MIC) occurs in a wide variety of environments, ranging from marine applications to deep underground environment present in nuclear waste repositories. In this talk, projects conducted at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd and their methodologies are going to be presented and utilised approaches discussed, such as measurements in the Baltic Sea brackish water. The main emphasis will be on the material and corrosion aspects.
