Short bio

My research is currently focused on impact evaluation of climate-neutral, sustainable and smart cities. I have 15 years research background on indicator framework development to help cities in setting meaningful targets, optimise resource use and assess the impacts of urban solutions. Aapo's work has been published in leading journals in the field and has been cited over 2800 times.
