Short bio

Aapo works on sustainability assessment of smart city solutions. He has 10 years research background on indicator framework development to help cities in setting meaningful targets, optimise resource use and assess the impacts of urban solutions (title of dissertation: "Evaluation of Smart AND Sustainable city development: What indicators to use, why and when?"). He works in the smart city impact assessment team that analyses the dynamics and impacts of urban systems. Aapo's work has been published in leading journals in the field and has been cited over 1000 times.
