With a professional background of 20 over years in human factors, usability, and user experience/interface/interaction R&D, Dr. Karvonen has work experience both from the academia and industry.
During his career, Dr. Karvonen have been previously involved in the research and development of many automated systems ranging from semi-autonomous ship and metro solutions to remotely operated industrial robots and container cranes.
His educational background includes a doctoral degree in cognitive science and a master's degree in information systems science.
