Research interests
I specialize in technical solutions related to air filtration and measurements. This includes particle, gas, and microbial filtration, as well as expertise in filters, filter materials, and air cleaners / purifiers. Room air cleaners and their functionality have particularly interested me.
At VTT, we carry out studies related to these topics. Our teams expertise lies in airborne contamination control in products and processes, advanced air filtration technologies and airflow analysis, exposure control and occupational hygiene. We use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and precise measurement techniques. We also conduct performance evaluations of air cleaners, particle and gas filter media and gas filters (also known as molecular filters), as well as develop filter and filter measurement systems.
