Personal profile

Short bio

I have worked at VTT almost 20 years focusing on risk assessment and risk management themes. I have participated in the development of risk assessment methods in various socio-technical contexts. Recent projects are related to the security of society. BuildERS project (H2020, ongoing) focuses on building resilience of the society against extreme events via improving the resilience of the most vulnerable groups. In a national MATTI-project (Funded by Prime Minister’s Office, 2019-2020) regional security model was developed to monitor changes in the security environment and to support regional security planning and preparedness. One part of the work was to identify indicators for the security of regional level.
