Short bio

I am Jukka Kääriäinen, a Senior Scientist at VTT in Oulu. My work focuses especially on digital transformation, sustainability, platform economy, and innovation ecosystems. I have extensive experience in research and development projects that combine business service development, public sector digitalization, and new technologies. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Oulu, and I have worked as a researcher and senior scientist at VTT since 1999. I have served as a project manager and researcher on several national and international projects developing digital solutions for sustainable industry and business. I have published articles on digitalization, sustainable development solutions, and innovation ecosystems.
