Short bio
I am a researcher with over 8 years of post-PhD experience in internal combustion engines. I earned my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, India, and continued research there as a Senior Research Associate under CSIR, India. I also completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, funded by the Swedish Energy Agency.
My research focuses on:

Combustion-Generated Particulates and Emissions: Particulate characterization, soot morphology, emission measurement, and control.

Laser Diagnostic Techniques: Spray characterization (PDI), flow visualization (PIV), schlieren, shadowgraphy, Mie scattering, and optical engine measurements.
I work at the intersection of combustion science and experimental diagnostics to enable cleaner and more efficient engine technologies.
