Short bio
My research focuses on the rheological characterization of all types of complex fluids and soft solids. I have particular interest in the viscoelastic analysis of cellulosic fiber suspensions and foams, and the application of this knowledge in the processing and manufacturing of novel fiber-based materials and products. Besides my research work, I serve as the President of the Nordic Rheology Society and as a Board Member of the Society for Wood and Polymer Chemistry in Finland.
