Short bio

Dr. Prashant Singh is a Senior Scientist in the Batteries and Charging team (BA4806) at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
Dr. Singh's research focuses on energy management and control issues in Hybrid Energy Storage Systems (Battery and Supercapacitor), thermal management issues in EVs, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing of battery management systems.
He previously worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Pole of Electrical Engineering for Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), Belgium, and in the Sustainable Engineering Department for TERI SAS, India.
He has strong skills in MATLAB/Simulink and real-time hardware-in-loop (HIL) implementation of power systems using OPAL-RT, Speedgoat, and ES-select tools.
