Short bio

Physics researcher with experience from Nobel Prize winning research labs in Europe and North America, and a large international contact network. I have done most of my career in photonics and optoelectronics, but my expertise lies more broadly in the mathematical modeling, analysis, and engineering of complex technological systems & applications. In my various roles, I have e.g. helped to improve the efficiency of several kinds of photonic devices through added physical understanding, spearheaded new research projects on novel diffusion-driven device concepts, and assumed large responsibilities in research management and supervision.
