Short bio

I am a Project manager and Senior Scientist in Optical measurements team at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. I have made my MSc and PhD at University of Oulu, Finland focussing on biosensing applications. My research interests include both biosensor development as well as spectroscopic technologies including Raman, NIR and hyperspectral imaging of organic and raw materials.

I have managed several large projects including Business Finland funded 3DLIDAR project, EU FET-Open project SensApp as well as EU H2020 project Goldeneye. In addition, I have taken part in 17 peer reviewed papers. I am dedicated in making a better future by developing new solutions for optical sensing and spectral measurements.
