Research interests
I'm the person-in-charge of VTT Industrial Biotechnology Automation Platform. Our instruments include a screening robot system (Beckman Coulter), a molecular biology liquid handler system (Tecan Fluent 780), microbioreactors (Biolector Pro and II, m2p-labs) and a high throughput bioprocess system (ambr250, Sartorius Stedim). Automation platform aims at constructing, screening and fermenting in high throughput various microbial strains for industrial biotechnology applications.
