Research interests
I am interested in the optimal integration of renewable energy technologies into larger systems ranging from the building to the regional level. Mathematical optimization and data-driven modelling are my primary tools. The current topics I am working on include:
• coupled energy-transport system modelling (Nordic Archipelago, project Regions4Climate)
• hydrogen valley development (Port of Hirtshals, project CONVEY)
• flexible operation of electrified industrial processes (projects ELECTRA, BitKein)
