Research interests

I develop solutions for sustainable, energy self-sufficient systems, focusing on the optimal integration of renewable energy technologies from process-level design to regional-scale systems.

My work combines mathematical optimization, dynamic simulation, and data-driven modelling. Current research topics: 


• Coupled energy-transport system modelling (Nordic Archipelago, project Regions4Climate)
• Hydrogen valley development (Port of Hirtshals, project CONVEY)
• Flexible operation of electrified industrial processes (projects ELECTRA, BitKein)
