50+ Companies Sustainable Growth Paths and Resilience in Global Business Ecosystems

This study aims to identify sustainable growth paths of 50+ companies in global business ecosystems and evaluate the ability of the Finnish innovation and operating environment to tolerate global economic fluctuations and unprecedented shocks such as the COVID-19 pandemic by turning challenges into opportunities as well as sustainable and resilient growth trajectories of 50+ companies in their business ecosystems. In so doing, the study will utillize collaboration with international experts by analyzing publicly available domestic and international statistical data as well as available company and ecosystems level data from Business Finland. Further, the study will analyze both quantitative and qualitative data collected from 50+ companies particularly in Finland. The expected results of this joint project and subsequent international collaboration include (i) guidelines for Business Finland and policy makers to support sustainable growth of innovative business ecosystems, (ii) insights on the Finnish innovation and operating environment's ability to build resilience and recover from the COVID-19 crisis, and (iii) frameworks to enhance productivity, growth, and employment in 50+ companies involved in global business ecosystems.
