Advanced computed tomography for dimensional and surface measurements in industry

Project: EU project

Project Details

Description

Enhancing the quality and efficiency of industrial computed tomography (CT) measurements.

Computed tomography (CT) allows the complete geometry of objects to be determined. However, quicker and more accurate techniques are needed to provide practical industrial CT scanning.

Project improves the quality and efficiency of CT measurements and produces fast CT methods to reduce measurement time.

VTT MIKES develops a reference standard for internal areal surface roughness measurements and characterisation methods for geometry errors of industrial cone beam CT systems.
