Project Details
Description
The A-DVICE project (2023-2024) will provide advice for policy development to implement, mainstream and upscale nature-based solutions (NBS) in the Nordics. This is the third of five projects financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers’ NBS programme. The project will provide applicable advice and suggestions for policy development to mainstream and upscale NBS, taking into account aspects like promotion, incentives, planning and implementation, maintenance and monitoring of NBS at national, regional and local level in the Nordic region. This includes dissemination of examples and learning points from across the region, specifying ways of implementing recommendations from other Nordic Council of Ministers’-funded NBS projects (S-ITUATION, S-UMMATION, the NordGen Crop Wild Relative) as well as from other recent developments. The advice and suggestions will be based on consultations and inputs from key stakeholders on gaps and barriers, enablers and success stories, as well as potentials for synergies and policy development.
