Alternative routes from syngas to renewable jet fuels and chemical intermediates

Project: Business Finland project

Project Details

Description

The SynJet research project aims to develop catalytic pathways from synthesis gas (carbon monoxide and hydrogen) through important intermediates such as fatty alcohols. These intermediates can in turn be converted into aviation fuels. They can also be used for other chemical products, such as cosmetics or hygiene products.
