Project Details
Description
he AURORA project aims at facilitating high production efficiency in future smart factories by providing a novel dynamic controlsystem platform that enables an automated production system to maintain its performance in the presence of increasingly highinformation volumes and processing demands caused by the increasing complexity of the system. The proposed solution is based ondynamic runtime optimization of the system model using advanced complexity reduction methods and a hierarchical multi-agent controlsystem which utilizes the digital twin technology to facilitate efficient autonomous modelling and coordination of the system. Thedeveloped technology will be validated by comprehensive simulations and by experiments in a real factory environment.
