Project Details
Description
CCM will improve the manufacturing capabilities of robotic production systems by introducing cognitive control to automatic and collaborative robot system. Versatility of tasks that the robot systems can carry out is improved by human/robot and robot/robot collaboration and use of extensive sensor feedback. System complexity is inherently increased and level of automatic programming of tasks needs to be and will be increased by utilizing product knowledge from product models and on-line sensor measurements, reasoning and planning as well as learning methods, resulting to cognitive and collaborative control. The results will be validated in a range of pilot applications.
