The goal of the project is to pilot technologies aiming for cost and resource efficient biogas and biomethane production. It also evaluates the profitability of these technologies and their potential business opportunities in different operational and market settings. The piloted technologies include in-situ methanation, carbon dioxide valorization, membrane contactor use in methane and carbon dioxide separation, and improvement of solid-liquid separation in digestate. The project is funded by the REACT-EU instrument as part of the European Union's actions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
