Project Details
Description
DYNAMOS’ goal is to develop fast (1 ns) and widely tunable (>110 nm) energy-efficient lasers based on the thick silicon-on-insulator (SOI) photonic integrated circuit (PIC) platform with hybrid-integrated InP semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs), broadband electro-optic silicon organic hybrid (SOH) modulators and high-speed (1 ns) broadcast-and-select packet switches. The DYNAMOS system will then be used to demonstrate novel data centre networks with highly deterministic sub-microsecond latency for maximum congestion reduction while reducing cost per Gbps. More information about DYNAMOS, including project details and consortium partners & contacts, can be found on the DYNAMOS webpage, www.project-dynamos.eu.
