Moving towards circular economy sets new requirements for the waste management system of Finland. Without radical changes in the management of waste, the circularity targets can not re reached. In specific, the return flow needs to have the capability to sort the valuable recyclable materials out of the waste. To make this change happen, new systemic solutions are needed. KEMU focuses on the circular economy of plastics, and aims at finding such supply chain management and logistics related solutions, that are needed for this change.
