Description

Supporting governments to verify emissions and demonstrate reduction targets.   
        
Methods to discriminate between natural and various manmade sources of greenhouse gases are needed to support governments to verify emissions and demonstrate reduction targets.
   
Project fills a traceability gap by providing new measurement infrastructure for stable isotopes of the major greenhouse gases CO2 and N2O.
  
VTT MIKES develops a compact spectroscopic isotope analyser for pure N2O and a field-deployable CO2 isotope analyser for atmospheric measurements.
