    Metrology tools to support growing demands for ‘green’ hydrogen as part of Europe’s climate strategy

    The EU Green Deal sets ambitious targets for the transformation towards a climate neutral continent. Hydrogen plays a key role as an energy in this ambition, yet the metrological infrastructure to support the entire hydrogen supply chain is underdeveloped.

    Project will provide novel standards and a metrology infrastructure to support the entire supply chain of hydrogen from production via storage to end use and to ensure that health, safety and environmental
    requirements are met.

    VTT MIKES updates its portable evaporative reference gas generator for HCl and NH3 in hydrogen matrix, validates it through intercomparison and demonstrates its suitability for field measurements.


    Call 2021: Metrology Support for the Green Deal

    The project (21GRD05 Met4H2) has received funding from the European Partnership on Metrology, co-financed from the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme and by the Participating States.
