New packaging solutions for people, planet and business

Package-Heroes searches for packaging solutions, which address simultaneously food protection and the global and constantly increasing concern of plastic packaging waste. Package-Heroes project addresses this challenge by co-creating sustainable food packaging solutions, based on recyclable and biodegradable wood fibre materials and new food delivery, consumption, and recycling concepts. The work is done together with a broad range of actors from the food ecosystem. The central aim is to produce novel concepts that are 1) good for business in terms of potential new business and profits, 2) good for people in terms of food safety and convenience in daily life, and 3) good for the planet in terms of reduced environmental load and improved sustainability.
