Project Details
Description
The purpose of this NOREM - NO flow Resistance Electronic Mask -project is to design, construct and evaluate the performance and commercial viability of a radically new respirator based on electrostatic precipitation. The envisioned advantages of such construction are re-use possibility, insignificant breathing flow resistance and high level protection against harmful airborne particles including viruses and bacteria. In addition, it is anticipated that many of the unpleasant symptoms caused by wearing current masks (e.g., headache, nausea, dizziness & fatigue) can be avoided by the new design and construction.
