Nordic Clean Energy Scenarios 2020

Nordic Clean Energy Scenarios 2020, NCES2020, will inform decision-makers and support the common Nordic commitment to carbon neutrality through strong, collaborative Nordic research and analysis. Objectives of the project are: (i) Develop carbon neutral scenarios for the Nordic countries; (ii) Strengthen the cooperation between Nordic energy modellers and researchers; (iii) Identify and analyse energy technologies with significant global and Nordic climate change mitigation potential; (iv) Establish a system for sharing, storing, updating and issuing of aggregated Nordic energy statistics; and (v) Demonstrate Nordic leadership in energy technology and tackling climate change.
