Scaling EV charging solutions for new values and services in collaboration networks

Project: Business Finland project

Project Details

Description

The goal of the project is to develop technology and business models for electric vehicle charging solutions and to explore how to create new value and services for end-users, technology providers, and electricity market participants. The objectives are: (a) to refine scenarios for the development of various electric vehicle fleets, (b) to develop and demonstrate charging technology solutions and power management methods, including V2G solutions, (c) to study the impacts of electric vehicle charging on power grids and electricity quality, as well as opportunities for value creation in electricity and flexibility markets, (d) to develop and demonstrate charging data management and system interfaces.

The project will result in new knowledge and expertise on the aforementioned themes, functional specifications, new practices, and demonstrations of new functions and operational models. The results will be published in project reports, theses, and international scientific articles.

The project also aims to create new joint offerings for international markets among actors in the transportation and energy technology sectors.
