Project Details
Description
The SENSEI project had the goal of exploring the sensitivity of probabilistic seismic hazard analysis (PSHA) outputs for the three nuclear sites in Finland to different choices of input. The project did not aim to verify existing outcomes of PSHA, nor did it aim to produce complete PSHA outcomes to be imposed within regulations. Instead, the main goal was to explore the sensitivity of results to input choices, to a far broader extent than is usually possible during PSHA projects, and to facilitate the comparison of the seismic hazard studies conducted for different sites in Finland.
