Description
Steel-earth aims to develop practical tools and documents able to exploit results obtained in 3 successful RFCS research projects: Opus, Steelretro, Precasteel. Aforementioned projects aimed at improving earthquake resisting steel structural solutions in different fields: the design of new constructions, the rehabilitation of existing structures and the modern design standards. Steel-earth is the first valorisation project in RFCS on earthquake engineering; it gathers the efforts made during last years, and aiming at the development of enhanced constructive, design and pre-normative solutions. The proposed dissemination activities are of outmost importance to transfer obtained results in current design practice and standards.
