Description
Developing the smart technologies required for Europe’s fourth industrial revolution
Machine vision systems (MVSs) are crucial to many Europe’s high-value industries and to the European objectives in terms of digital transformation and green deal. But for these systems to achieve their full potential, further work is needed, especially in establishing traceability for MVSs.
Project ensures the traceability of MVSs deployed in industrial applications including macro- and microscale products and develop digital twins (DTs) of selected and newly developed MVSs through physical models and/or computational models applying AI driven methods.
VTT MIKES will create digital-metrological twin of fringe projection instruments including systematic and assist to create a DT for the whole process of autostereoscopic 3D measurement method.
Call 2023: Metrology for Industry
The project (23IND08) has received funding from the European Partnership on Metrology, co-financed from the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme and by the Participating States.
