Transient Electronics for Sustainable ICT in DigitaL Agriculture

Project: Academy of Finland project

Project Details

Description

This project investigates and develops technologies for sustainable manufacturing paradigm for electronics aiming to: (a) turn e-waste into an opportunity by exploring the novel approach of turning e-waste into compost by using and developing novel electronic materials that naturally degrade; (b) reduce e-waste by adopting new architectures that will encourage reuse of ICT where possible; (c) promote environment friendly fabrication process that minimize the use of hazardous chemical by developing energy-efficient additive manufacturing.
