Description

The URNECO project seeks to develop advanced expertise and technology to mitigate underwater noise generated by ships, particularly considering the diverse conditions of the Baltic Sea. The project primarily focuses on the development of measurement and modeling methodologies. The research work of the project is carried out by the research groups of Turku University of Applied Sciences and VTT. The former focuses on noise measurements and the latter on noise modeling and noise abatement.
