Project Details
Description
The Untangling People Flow consortium has a strategic goal to improve the people-flow management for cities, venues, transportation hubs and retail using recommendation systems. The project has three main co-innovation objectives:
1. PEOPLE-FLOW VALUE & IMPACT IDENTIFICATION: How can we enhance user experience, organizational performance, and sustainability by optimizing people flow in the built environment?
2. PEOPLE-FLOW VALUE CREATION CONCEPT: What is required to maximize the value and impact: people flow, spaces, conditions (light, sound, heat, air quality), energy, security, services?
3. PEOPLE-FLOW MONETARIZATION CONCEPT: How can we make international business by solving problems 1 and 2?
The consortium mission is to apply the learnings of pedestrian mobility and people-flow analytics to provide digital people flow analytics and actional data for all stakeholders who invest in the built environment. As a part of the consortium, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd develops Al-aided joint radar and communication methods to gather indoor positioning data from the airport.
