Abstract
In this paper, we present a fully automatic radiation pattern measurement setup for 60 GHz LTCC antennas. First, a detailed description of the mechanical and the RF parts of the set-up is provided. Then, the 3D radiation pattern measurements of several probe-fed antennas realized on a Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) substrate are compared with simulations and measurements done at VTT when the antennas are fed by a connector. These experiments demonstrate the possibility to accurately measure the radiation of probe-fed antennas with distinct directions of radiation.
