    Abstract

An exponentially-tapered slot antenna on low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) substrate is presented. It is designed to be used over a broad frequency range in the millimetre-wave band. LTCC technology is used for its low-cost and high-tolerance performances. Experimental and simulation results reveal that the antenna has a satisfactory operating frequency band from 28 GHz to 65 GHz within which acceptable radiation patterns as well as a return loss better than 10 dB for most of the band are achieved.
