Abstract
The principle, design, construction and uncertainity analysis of a calculable impulse voltage calibrator was described. The uncertainity achieved using the calculable impulse voltage calibrator was significantly lower than using any other method. In high-voltage impulse measurement, the gap between the uncertainties required for testing and available for calibration of instruments were narrow.
