Abstract
A real-time spectrum analyzer based on a
charge-coupled device (CCD) is described. The power spectrum is
calculated by the chirp z-transforn using the CCD. The analyzer includes
a buffer memory for the input data and an integrator to sum the
computed spectral estimates for better statistical accuracy. The
analyzer makes one 512-point, discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) for
complex data in 1.024 ms.
