    Abstract

A computer-interactive fracture toughness testing system is described. The system reliability is shown to meet the requirements of the proposed standard test procedure. Exemplary test results for compact testing, round compact testing, and three-point bend specimen geometries are presented. Based on the experiences gained, some minor additions are proposed to the standard test procedure.
