    Abstract

    We have studied a new way to shunt underdamped Josephson junctions for precise AC voltage generation. The solution is a more complex shunt circuit instead of a simple resistor. The concept is tested with simulations. Stable constant voltage steps, rapid output voltage selection and low pump dissipation are obtained.
