Abstract
Digital transformation influences also asset management processes and offers solutions for more effective practices. This study focuses on the use of advanced technologies in the electricity supply and forest industry cases. The study revealed a broad spectrum of technological solutions and services that could create value for asset management activities in the industry 4.0 context. The solutions were evaluated with the asset life cycle management framework that offers means for linking the technologies and solutions to the asset management and maintenance activities.
