Abstract
Study focuses on the fact that populations of EU15
countries are getting older. Thus housing related needs
of this ageing population are gaining ever more weight.
This is a great challenge and an oppurtunity for the
construction sector as it is important to build new
residential houses and to renovate the existing buildings
so that the buildings are cabaple of fulfilling these
needs. The study examines this new market potential from
the poist of view of the housing stock and the ageing
segment.
