    Abstract

The use of software agent technology has received a great potential in communication and coordination of integrated supply chains. With the use of a sophisticated electronic system, manufacturers, suppliers, third-party partners, and customers, can be linked together in order to build a common e-supply chain. This paper presents the agent-based software solution that supports the supply chain integration in one Finnish manufacturing industry network.
