Abstract
Polarimetric Palsar data were ortho-rectified for
analysis of polarimetric signatures of forested stands. A
strong positive correlation of 0.93 was found between
Palsar HV amplitude and forest stem volume in stands with
a stem volume of 150 m3/ha or below. For HH data, the
correlation coefficient was 0.82.
