Abstract
Self-monitoring is an efficient tool in personal health
management. The self-monitoring of weight, for example,
calls for the daily measurements of weight, the storage
of results, and the use of the recorded weight history to
follow up possible changes. This allows the user to learn
about the behavioural factors affecting weight, and
thereby to manage his/her weight according to a
behavioural feedback model.
