    Abstract

This paper gives a brief description of one possible way to use fuzzy control in off road vehicles. All methods presented here have been tested in real working conditions using a full scale working prototype. The fuzzy controller has proven to be both robust and reliable and has given a significant improvement compared to the old anti-slip control method. The results of this research have been implemented and further development is going on. The next goal will be an application for forestry machines with hydrostatic power transmission.
