    Abstract

In this paper the new and up-to-date information on The European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS) and Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) over mobile-ip capabilities in high latitude areas are given based on actual real world measurements. It is expected that utilizing the better accuracy and availability provided by the Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems enhanced and even new ITS applications can be developed.
