Abstract

The arrangement has a suction box including front edge and tapering edge, and suction slots arranged between the edges. The suction box is arranged at a guide roller (22). Distance between the front edge and a press fabric (10) is about 5 to 100 mm, and distance between the tapering edge and the press fabric is about 0 to 10 mm. The suction slot estimated by the front edge is provided at distances from an area at which the press fabric correlates with the guide roller, where distances are plus/minus 50 mm measured by the correlating area.
