Abstract
This publication presents in edited form the proceedings
of the
research seminar held in Jyväskylä on 15 16th October
1991. The
seminar was a part of Nordic cooperation in the research
area of
artificial dewatering of peat.
There are research programmes on artificial dewatering of
peat both
in Finland and in Sweden. These programmes aim to develop
economical peat production methods which are not
dependent on
weather or the season.
This proceeding consists of papers of mining and
transportation of
peat, dewatering of peat and utilization technology for
wet peat.
